1800h: Welcome drink at Lobby – Ardent courtesy
1900h: Dinner at ‘Brasserie Appelmans’
In a cosy brasserie, with its own cocktailbar (‘Absinth Bar), we’ll start the conference with some typical Belgian food and drinks. Three course meal with wine and beers included!
1845h: Gathering of the troops
1900h: Dinner at Auction house Bernaerts
Peter Bernaerts, in his father’s footsteps, is one of our country’s most famous auctioneers (he appeared on numerous TV shows) and is the Belgian auctioneer who ‘hammered’ the most expensive painting ever sold on Belgian territory. We’ll have dinner in the auction hall (a former cinema ‘Cinema Tokio’) and hopefully we can get a preview of the new exposition Bernaerts is setting up at that moment. Peter will join us and explain how his business works.
1230h: Lunch break
1400h: Free as a bird!
1900h: For those who are interested we’ll take you to a restaurant nearby (Central Railway Station)
The Cicero meeting in Antwerp will enable you to get acquainted with most of the culture heritage.
