“Ik Dien” is a sports club which was founded in Edegem in 1924, and which is mainly involved with football. Its over 700 members and volunteers consistently strive to instil the right attitude on and around the pitch, in a spirit of mutual respect. Ardent shares these values, and is one of the main sponsors. Inez van Loock is the wife of the club’s chairman.
“Koca” is a centre that, through education and care, provides support for children, young people and adults, who due to their vulnerability, require special education and extra support. For countless years, Annemie Moens has been a director and the chairman of the board of directors of “Koca NPO”.
For many years, “Mendo Booischot” has been involved in the upper echelons of Belgian volleyball, with an absolute focus on youth training and transition to its own senior teams. Each year, the club supplies several Belgian championship teams and trophy-winners in the youth series. With 4 women’s teams, 7 men’s teams and over 15 youth teams competing, Mendo provides an opportunity for over 200 members to practise sport in optimum conditions, and at their own level. Ardent is one of the club’s main sponsors. Filip Duwaerts is a member of the board of directors.
“Nkoaranga-Watoto” is a non-profit organisation set up in 2009 to provide optimum healthcare for the children at the Nkoaranga Lutheran hospital in Tanzania. Luc van Braekel is a director of the organisation, and the proud father of Tania Van Braekel, the driving force behind this project.
“De Klinkaard” (“KocaVolwassenenzorg NPO”) provides specialist individual care for the deaf and hearing impaired with or without additional support needs, in Boom and the surrounding area. Annemie Moens is a director and chairman of the board of directors of this NPO.
