Annemie Moens

Bio

Annemie gained her Master’s degree in Law from U.I. Antwerp. She qualified as a lawyer in 1979, and is also a trustee.

Annemie is also generally recognised in the sector as an expert on Insolvency Law and companies in difficulties. She has also advised and pleaded in more general Business Law for a long time.

She is also involved in the operation of the Antwerp and Flemish Bar Councils and in Diplad, an ICT company set up within the Flemish Bar Council to help bring advocacy – and by extension the legal system – into the digital future. Amongst others, she also works on the development and operation of Regsol, the on-line insolvency register.

Her social engagement is demonstrated by her role in the management of the NPO Koca, a group of schools and facilities for children, young people and adults with a communication disorder.
